Open Outlook 2010
Click File
Click Add Account
Select the option “Manually configure server settings or additional server types, Click Next
Select the option “Internet E-mail“, Click Next
In “Your Name:” Field, type in your Full Name
In the “Email Address” field, type in your full email address.
Under the “Account Type” Select POP3 or IMAP, this is users preference.
(POP3 is downloading email off the server to your PC, IMAP is viewing the email directly on the mail server.)
In the “Incoming & Outgoing” mail servers, type in what is shown in your customer control panel.
Under the User Name Section: Type in your FULL Email address.
Under the Password section: Type in the password associated with the mailbox you’re trying to setup
Make sure the “Remember password” box is checked.
Click on the “More Settings” button.
Click on the “Outgoing Server” tab. Make sure “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” box is checked. Also check the button “Use same settings as my incoming mail server“.
Click on the “Advanced” tab, Make sure the Outgoing server (SMTP) port is set to 587, then click the OK button.
Click the “Next” button, a small “Test Account Settings” box will come up.
If you typed in the information correctly you’ll get a “Completed” for the “Log onto Incoming mail server, and a “Completed” for “Send test e-mail message” then click the “Close” button.
Then click “Finish” and you’ve successfully setup your email account in Outlook 2010.
