Resetting Plesk SQL Services on Windows VPS.

Below are the instructions on how to connect to your Windows Virtual Private Server via Remote Desktop to reset

You can find the Remote Desktop username and password in the Customer Control Panel with your main account’s username and password. Once logged in, you'll find the login informaiton under the “VPS Management tab section at the top.

 You’ll see the following in green:

Your VPS is active now The password for "Administrator" user of the VPS is initially set to "***********". Use the below links to manage your VPS with VZPP. If VPS host name can be resolved please use the link via VPS host name. Otherwise use the link to login via VPS IP address. You can view and manage your domain(s) using the "Hosted Domains" link on the Home screen.

To open a RDP login box, type in “mstsc” in the “Run” box when you click on Start.

You’ll see this box appear. Type in the IP address of the server you want to connect to.


Login with the username of “Administrator” and the password you’ll find on the page listed above.

Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see the Services Icon at the bottom, looks like 2 gears.

Find the "Plesk SQL Server" service, right click and start the service if it is stopped.
